I just want to tell you that I will be in and out this week. My dad passed away Friday night, so I'm spending some time with my family. I continue to keep you in my prayers.

Thank you all for your kind words. They really helped. He wanted no ceremony, and by now I'm sure he's in the ground. I'm trying to put together something with my cousins, etc. But otherwise I'll take my kids to the cemetery this weekend for a small personal ceremony. I was always Daddy's Little Girl, so this is indeed a difficult loss for me. Thank you, friends, for being there for me.

I am so sorry about your father. Here's a big ((((((((HUG)))))))! Losing parents is very hard - losing anyone you love is hard. I have lost both of my parents, a brother, and a sister, so I know what loss means. They are never far from us even when they are gone. They live on in our memories.
I don't know if I ever mentioned it here, but I work at a cemetery/mortuary and see what people go through every day. It puts things in a different perspective.
