Safe at home

Just a quick note to report that DM and I are safe at home after our trip to DD's in Indiana. Shelley, one of these trips I am going to come up to Kokomo to see you! We had another day of driving in the rain sad  , but today was dry. Snow on the ground in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota. But, I am listening to the havoc in other parts of the country and know that we are fortunate. We made an overnight stop in Iowa City last night about 4:45 p.m. and finished the drive home today. Nice to be sitting here with my laptop. Now, if DH and DS come home from the MN deer hunting adventure. DS bagged an 11-point buck before T'giving. He is pretty happy about that. Guess we will be eating a lot of venison again this winter. Hope everyone had a great holiday. Hugs, Lauri

Happy to hear you made it home safely. Weather not bad here, but watching on TV the northeast sure got a mess today. Rest up now from your vacation. LOL. I think everyone must have taken one, it has been quiet here. Hugs MK

Glad you're home, safe and sound. Enjoy the venison. You can have my share!!! LOL

Love and hugs...

Oh, Bev, the deer they shoot in southern Minnesota and Iowa feed on corn in farmers' fields. Usually it is very good, just like very lean beef. In MOST cases, but not all, you cannot tell the difference. Hugs to you, too, Lauri

I am so sorry you had to travel in that weather but I am sure it was worth it. I am glad you are hope again safe and sound. Love Joyce
