Has anyone used the Specific Carbohydrate Diet and if so, did you modify it at all, and in what way? I want to try it but it seems very difficult. I have heard it brings great results if you can stick with it. Just wondering if there is anyone who had good results BUT modified it at all. THANKS SO MUCH!

I have not tried it and it really hasn't been mentioned here lately however I did notice that people on the UC forum have brought it up many times. You may get more feedback over there or we might have someone pop up in here that have tried it.

I seem to recall people talking about doing it on the Crohn's Forum, too--or at least a similar carb-limiting diet. I seem to recall looking at it when I was having a lot of problems but I didn't give it a go; there wasn't anything left that you could eat that I would eat, lol.
What is the Specific Carb diet about? Is it only eating certain carbs? I know carbs in general make my D worse.
