Hello Ladies, I really did feel you all around me on Wednesday as I had my first radiatiion treatment. It was a little longer than a usual treatment, they told me, because they did x-rays too. My husband timed the minutes I was away from him, and it was 19 minutes. Not too bad, and the arm was doing OK until the last few minutes. Today was a snap! In and out in 10 minutes or so. I was told today that they do x-rays once a week, so to expect those treatments to be a few minutes longer, again. But, I feel pretty good and do thank you all again for your support. Jean: Good news to hear! I am glad that the treatments are going well. Just hang onto those pink feathers each week when they do the x-rays. That will help you get thru the uncomfortable few mins.

Glad to hear you are doing well in there Jean. I forgot about the x-rays, sorry. I guess by the time you get the hang of all of this it's over, not a bad way to look at it though. Tomorrow will be my half way point and I'm doing ok so far, a little tired and a little sore but no where near like recovery from the surgery. So hang in there and we will make it through this together!
