Sharing my news

Don't know if I may have already shared the news that I am FINALLY going to be a grandma.  I am so excited, and just today found out that it is a Boy.  Must admit I was deep down hoping for a little girl, simply because I had all boys, but a little boy is as welcome as a girl would have been.

My son called from Minnesota to say, "Mom it is amazing what we could see on the picture."  He went on and on about all the "parts" they could see.  I finally said, "well could you tell what sex?"  He said, "Oh yeah - HE was laying just perfect." LOL  This is the son who is a Science Teacher, so when he could see all the organs, etc. he was in awe.

He said he hoped I wasn't disappointed because he knew I would want a girl. ha  Isn't that sweet that he was concerned about me?   Anyway we are headed to Minnesota next week so will get to see the pictures.

Laurie, I will be in MSP from late Wed till around noon on Friday.  Maybe we can have our annual lunch at Dayton's if you are available.  I will send you an email.

Would ask that you keep this little one and his parents in your prayers that everything goes well and we have a healthy baby in April.

Love, Kitty

Today is a gift, that's why they call it the present!

Congratulations, Grandma. One of the greatest titles in the world. I know how excited you are. I am busily knitting for my great grandchild coming in the spring and I am excited about that. Hope you and Lauri can get together and share a hug for all of us. Love MK

Kitty,
Nothing is better than a baby! My sister is due in March with her first. Hannah is SO excited that she is going to have a cousin that lives here. Congratulations!

Hi Kitty, congrats on the pending grandson. How exciting! Grandbabies are just the best. I assume that you and DH will be in town next week. I called and left a message at your home. Lunch next week soulds like lots of fun. I'll make sure my time is free. Wes and I are headed to clinic on Wed. at 10:30 for flu shots (they finally decided anyone over 50 can have one). Looking forward to seeing you again. Hugs, Lauri

Kitty, in the midst of sadness there is always joy. YOUR news is our joy for today. Congratulations on the baby. Grandparenting is certainly pretty special. You're going to love every minute of it. L&H's, Luci

Kitty,

I am so happy for you. And yes, this was exactly the news we needed today! It brought a big smile to my face sweetie.

Don't worry, that little boy will just be the "cat's meow" the first time you see him. We had two daughters and I thought that the first grandchild would have been nice if it would have been a boy but, my oh my..........how our dear little Abigail has brought so much happiness to our lives. Just like our children........all you need is ONE look at them and you are immediately falling in love!!!!!!!!!! A healthy baby is the most important thing. Enjoy Kitty...........it is WONDERFUL being a grandparent. Also, make sure you tell Leon we are happy for the both of you.

Sending prayers that the little fellow has a healthy and normal delivery.

God Bless,
Debbie
