I just talked to Shelley and she asked me to let you all know she would appreciate prayers and thoughts. She and I talked Saturday and she was having problems. She went to the hospital at my urging. Bet she is ready to bop me. They took a chest xray and basically told her it was her choice to stay or come back Monday for her scheduled ECHO. As soon as they did that they called her Dr. They are going in under the breast bone or through the ribs to cut out piece of the sack. She has a lot of fluid and it is compromising her heart. They will put a drain in and keep her there until it stops draining. She said they told her about 4 days. Prayers and wishes that all goes well. Thank you all so much. Oh dear, Oh dear, I did not know about this possibility. Bless her heart, she does not need this! Prayers winging their way to IN for her and her family..................... Four days is not long for this type of surgery, especially if they go under the sternam. I am really going to get to bed early now. Hugs, MK
Oh no, she just wanted a healthy Christmas this year...I will be on the PCE with my pink boa and sending lots of healing vibes and prayers for successful surgery and a quick recovery.

Oh NO!!!! I really need to check the board more often. I'm so sorry to hear this news. Shelley is in my prayers as always. I'm sending her best wishes for a speedy recovery from this ordeal.
