well i just go a new job that pays really well the only down side is that is is 3rd shift, full time and i am a full time student so i need to figure out a way to shift my sleep cycle without triggering a migraine since one of my migraines can last a week and i start work in a week and school in three days i can ill afford one.
i am on preventative medication that i am supposed to take at night before i go to bed (topamax 50mgs)
right now my plan is to each night or morning rather go to bed later each night but don't let myself oversleep and take my medication before i go to bed just like i am supposed to but i was wondering if that is my best option or maybe there is a better one
hope to here from people soon thanks in advance for the help

Hello Dink,
Have you noticed that a lot of migraine sufferers are also over achievers. I too am a student and work full time. Perhaps its a sign that we're trying to do too much.
I like your idea of going to bed a little later each night and taking your topamax before you go to bed. I would also try not to worry. Be confident that it will work out and that if you get a migraine you will handle it like you do each time. Slot time in each day to relax, take a bath, go for a walk, watch a favorite TV show.
I find that I can worry myself into a migraine when "I don't need one". I also find that if I'm going to fast my body slows me down with a migraine. Be realistic about what you can do and don't forget about you.
Good luck.

I try and remember this each day I have a headache that I'm not sure I can overcome.
