I saw this commercial on TV about Ulcerative Colitis. This guy with a very painstaking expression said, "I was going to the bathroom up to SIX TIMES A DAY!" I felt bad about scoffing, but six times?! That's a good day!!!
I kinda agree that 6X/day isn't too bad but I'd imagine to the rest of the world that is clueless to IBD and IBS, they would likely find 6X/day quite a bit, when you consider the aprox norm for healthy peeps is likely 1, maybe 2X/day....it's good that they're getting info out there on these bowel conditions though, maybe it'll make healthy peeps be more understanding and maybe it'll help those who have noticed bowel changes that are not normal for them all the sudden, to get to a doc and not pass it off as nothing or something they ate that didn't agree with them...so many peeps get sick but choose to live in "DenialVille".
But I do agree, I've gone 30+ times a day with my CD and take 6/day over that :)
