I flew into Newark on Saturday morning to attend Luci's dear sons wedding on Sunday.
Libby met Luci and I at the hotel and we had a wonderful lunch and a great visit ! Lots
of laughs, hugs and good conversation.
We also called and talked to Joyce & Becky !
WHat fun !
The rehersal dinner was on Saturday evening ..it was so nice to be included ..the meal and
company was wonderful.
On Sat. I had brunch with Luci & Barry and other family memebers but relaxed most of Sunday.
The wedding was at 4:00. They served champagne with fresh strawberries while we
waited for the service to start. The bridesmaids looked so nice, especially Luci's
DD Avery. Luci looked so gorgeous. He dress was SO beautiful!! Barry looked so nice in his Tux !Her grandson Nickolas is so darn cute. No wonder Luci is crazy about
him !
Dana, Luci's new DIL, looked breathtaking and Luci's son Andrew is SO handsome.
They make such a beautiful couple ! There was a cocktail hour after the service where
we feasted at food stations that had so many different types of food. After that was
a wonderful sit down dinner and dancing
I was honored to be at the head table with
Luci and Barry and her family.....I lasted almost until the end of the reception. Thank
goodness the reception was in the same hotel we were staying in !
There was a brunch the next morning and then I had to say good bye to Luci
and Barry....It wasnt quite as sad, because they came to Cleveland yesterday
and we had dinner together last night !!!!!
..Boy seems like all we did was eat !!
LOL

How wonderful it would be to see Angels where there are only clouds. How sad it would be to see clouds where there are Angels.
Cathi, you made me smile. I am so very happy that you and Luci had this special weekend together. Lunch with Libby had to have been a highlight of the weekend! Thank you so much for calling. I was more than happy to pull off the road driving home from Walton's Mountain to talk to my very dear friends. Yes, I was green -- but it was such a treat hearing your voices!
I love you!

Can I be colored a nice shade of green too? Perhaps that trendy apple green that I am addicted to?
Sounds like a wonderful and fabulous weekend all around, and a much needed boost for you, Cath!
Mazel Tov to you Luci, what a wonderful time for your family!

Cathi, It sounds like you had a marvelous time. And, I too am envious -- mossy green, here. So glad you, Luci and Libby got to share some special time together. I know how wonderful that must have been. Thanks for sharing the good times with us. Hugs, Lauri

My heart was so happy Saturday. It was great having lunch with Cathi and Luci and getting much needed hugs. The wedding weekend sounds like a wonderful time. What special memories. I love you guys. Happy Hugs, Libby
