Starting school soon getting nervous.....

HI guys.
I start school Sept 12.  I am nervous.  I just got a letter in the mail yesterday.  They moved our campus.  Closer to home, but I am now going to have to drive W with traffic (towards NYC) so that kinda stinks.
 
I am nervous.  For many reasons.  I keep telling myself I will be okay.  I really hope it works out for me.  This has been my dream for a while.  With all the heartache the past month I am just all torn up.  Maybe school will be a good thing for me to be focusing on.  All new people to meet and get along with.  All I want is to stay seizure free. 
 
(for those of you who don't know I am a Nursing Student)
 
Last month I got my national certifications in CMA, Phlebotomy and EKG tech.  So I know I have it inside.  I guess I just have to rest and eat well. 
 
As the summer comes to a close I only have 12 working days left at my job.  I realize I am going to miss that place so much.  They are such a crazy bunch of special people who treat me so well.  I couldn't ask for a better job, but my heart tells me I would be better off a nurse helping others.  I made alot of good friends at work and my bosses are great.  They were nothing but supportive during the deaths, sent flowers, paid me for my time off and bought me alot of lunches at applebees tongue
 
Blah blah, just thought I would catch a few of you up who have been with me for the past year and my more recent friend I have met here. 
 
I am glad to know I can always come here and that will never change.  I hope you all have a great day and talk to you soon Tracy

Hi Tracy,

   I know you are nervous about going back to school, but you are right, it may help you get your mind off this summer. I'm sure you will do great in school and be a wonderful nurse. I'm glad you are going for your goals in life and not letting the seizures stop you.

  I'm sure you will miss the people you have worked with this summer and I'm sure they will miss you equally as much. I'm so glad they were good to you in your time of need.

  I wish you all the best in school and you will be in my thoughts and prayers. I know you will keep us posted on how your doing in school!!!  tongue

I have been having alot of anxiety the past two weeks. But I think it is for many reasons besides school starting. I just hope it all goes smoothly. Going to a college campus alone intimidates me but it is nicer then the other school. Our building is next to this cute little organic garden. So maybe I will have some peaceful lunches there. Just about a week left until classes start. (Sept12).  Work is almost over for me.  We just got the puppy this sunday.  That is great for us.  WE really needed some joy in our lives.

HI Guys. I had a great night. 7 of us from work went out to eat and then we went to dave and busters afterwards. It was nice. I had an apple martini. I didn't even finish one glass. HI Ginny. Yeah I am nervous. The day after tomorrow. I already got my backpack pretty much together. I hope I meet some nice people. And I am starting to feel better, because I am probably go back to my old job in a few weeks very part time. 4-6 M-F. So it shouldn't interfere with my studies and I will make some money and still get to see all of my work friends. I don't even know what I am wearing the first day yet ;)

Today went WONDERFULLY!! I had a great day. It went really well. The campus is so nice and the class that I am with is great. There are 138 of us in total, but we are split into groups of about 22. I have a friend from my class last year going, but I don't see her we are in different groups. For those who are interested here is my schedule
Monday-Fundamentals in nursing
Tuesday-Vocational Adjustments
Wednesday-Anatomy and Physiology
Thursday-Lab
Fridays-Test day.

Shedule will change in December but that is it for now.

****I am still debating whether or not I should notify administration of my seizures and meds, or should I get a medialert necklace. I am not sure what to do. I want to be treated like everyone else. Just so happened I told my teacher last year and her son had E so she was all behind me. But this year I have 3 teachers to start with. Advise anyone???

My sweet friend, you worry too much :-)    You've shown that with all you've been through, you'll come out successful. 

BTW, Jennifer- Tracy's already applied at CA hospitals for when she graduates.  Maybe she'll come visit you though :-)
