Medtronic said it will immediately roll out in Europe, the Middle East and Asia -- more than 40 countries in all -- its Endeavor drug-eluting stent, a tiny, wire mesh tube coated with medicine that props open arteries during angioplasty procedures.
Minneapolis-based Medtronic is still conducting clinical trials in the United States and does not expect to have the device on the U.S. market, estimated at about $3.5 billion, until 2007. Ward said its U.S. trial is on track."

in march of this year i had a new procedure done at uab in ala. they recontructed my rca which was gone and goes to yer aorta they put in 5 stents back to back which they call a full metal jacket it seems to be working pretty good so far they will run a cath in nov to check them out the small vessel problem will always be there i have to on the back side of heart that they are watching pretty close cardio said they are at 60% blocked now hoping they will stay there or get better we will see but i have been feeling so much better still tire easy but but what the hey you can'have it all thanks fot ya'll support over the years we have been here i will be lurking about love to ya all
