goodmorning all, ok, not sure whats going on, but the pain is still here since thursday, now my legs are seeming more weak, and my butt is killing me, im thinking that maybe it's the disc, the perocet aren't helping anything, and the predisone didn't do anything either, any idea's? im waiting for yet another phone call back to have some xrays or an MRI done...so tired of off all this already, after 10 years of fibromyalgia, and now this,,,GRRRRRRRRRRR,,,well, i hope everyone is doing ok today, just wanted to check in and say hi...

hi Tammy,when i'm in a bad flare, the AS is unbearable! right now it is terrible to sit because the lower spine and the tailbone hurts so bad. before i went on DMARDs, opiates and steroids barely touched the pain.
and of course when our backs and spine aren't right...of course the legs will hurt.
hope you get your Xrays soon and some better treatment to control it.
i use a heating pad as well to get some comfort.
hi,,yes, i live on the heating pad, am so darn (oops) sore i don't know what to do with myself, still waiting for doc. since yesterday,,and yes, last night my knee's were killing me, that was new, well, new in a different way, not like the fibro, so i was assuming it was from the AS...it's raining like crazy here in mass. right now, so im sure the weather doesn't help any, i don't know what to think at this point, i don't think i can keep dealing with the pain like this..oh, i do have a question thou,,,yesterday my eyes were kinda achey, and everytime that i closed them i was sick to my stomach and dizzy,,does this make any kind of sense to anyone....probably just me losing my mind..lol, just thought i would throw it out there,,,well, have a good day all, thanks for being here

none of the meds that they have me on erin seem to work at all right now, to tell ya the truth i really don't even want to see the doctor right now...lol, probably wouldn't be in his best interest to call me in..lol...

then he'll get a real glimpse on how bad everything is.if you're getting dizzy when you close your eyes, it could be a number of things. vertigo, blood pressure, fluid in the ears, postural dizziness or even preceding a headache, low blood sugar, your sinuses, inner ear problems, nerves........
bring it up @ the docs, if it's bothersome it needs looking into. could maybe even be one of the meds making you have nausea & dizziness. it's worth bringing up.
if the meds aren't benefitting you, may be time for a change! it's frustrating i know.
well, the rain is kicking my butt too!
been takin a beatin for the past month with the rain.please take care of yourself & try to avoid driving during these dizzy spells!
when you turn your head to the sides or look up do you get dizzy or lose balance???
also, get up slowly from sitting too.
there is a liquid anti emetic called "EMETROL" @ drugstores. it's cherry flavored (and for kids by the way!
) and that has helped me in the past with nausea; and it's quite yummy!! not too expensive. i took it when i was on antibiotics that made me want to hurl!!! so if the queeziness gets to ya, check it out.what also is good for nausea is ginger. ginger ale, gingersnap cookies. marshmallow (like Fluff!)

dizzy spells went away, who the he%*$ knows what it was, lol, but thanks for info, probably just lack of sleep, or lack of good sleep. i'll keep in mind the emetrol though, especially for the kids, one of them always has a tummy ache or something..(especially at bedtime..lol) time to sit on the heating pad..have a good night,,,
