Hi everyone
I went to my doctor office again yesterday (Nov 7) and met with my new GP. When I went in last week I met with the Nurse Practitioner (sp)... and she wanted me to come back and meet my actual Dr. Anyways, I went over with my new DR. what the NP and I talked about last week and told her again that they are making me wait 3 weeks for my mammo. She examined my breast herself and told me that she was going to call the breast imaging center herself and try to get me in sooner. Well, the office called me last night and told me that they just cannot get me in sooner. Also, she felt the lump in my leg and refer'd me to a surgeon and I'm meeting with him tomorrow at 9am... Hmm... they can get me an appointment in 2 days for a lump in my leg, but I have to wait 21 days for 2 lumps in my breast.... does something seem wrong with that picture? lol... Anyways, I'm hanging in there, but it's not that easy.. I felt like I needed to vent a little.. thanks for the support :)
P.S... They don't have a cancellation list at the breast imaging center, but I can call them every day to see if they have had anyone cancel. So far nothing, but hopefully I'll get in soon... waiting is not that easy

Susie,
Sometime's I wonder if these doctors know how stressful the wait can be. Go ahead and vent many of us have been in the same situation. Maybe if you keep calling they will eventually squeeze you in.
