Stomach Pains

Hi everyone
 
This is s great webiste and has helped alot.  Thanks to everyone's comments and help.  Does anyone feel any pain, or flutterings  or a tingly, tickly feeling in their stomach area at all.  If so what is it, something to worry about or not????? Is it just the healing process.  Would like to hear from you.

I did last night ,..I had a sip of Ginger Ale and it started that feeling,..so I took a Gaviscon tablet and it went away. I dont know if it was the Ginger Ale.

Joke :   When I was sick with UC, my Dr. told me to avoid any unnecessary stress,..

Thanks for the response. I hope it was not too excrutiating, hope you feeling better.  I thought Gaviscon was for heartburn.  I think that fizzies do that, so I stay away from them. I had a bout of vomiting and stomach pains again yesterday and was rushed to emergency.  They did an xray  but could not find anything wrong with my bowels.  They had to monitor me for 7 hours and let me come home.  I am fine today, just drinking lots of fluids but going straight thru me, any suggestions.

Hey Rop,..Gaviscon didnt bother me. I dont know when you had surgery,but after surgery, our job is drinking water or fluids and walking atleast 5 times a day,(im sure you knew that) maybe if you dont feel like drinking,..eat some anchovies on saltine crackers and it will make you thirsty.I had the same problem as you did, a week after my surgery.(Cramps and feeling very very sick)It was just nature running its coarse.

Hi Depiro

Had surgery in October 2004.  I drink lots of water, but don't really enjoy it but must do.  I find that lucozade sport keeps, and that helps alot. Can't get out too often as I live on the top floor of a building three flights of stairs and I had open wounds that needed to be dressed every day, and since January every other day.  I do take walks when I can get out, with baby not very easy. I also have a confidence problem at the mo, afraid of the bag leaking when I am out??????? trying to get back to normal, but really difficult. Thanks for the advice.  Hope you are feeling ok.
