Hope everyone doing well. My ALP in liver tests for the last 5 month's is hovering around 140-150 ish where the upper limit of the lab is 116. Other than ALP everything looks fine. I have UC for the last 13 yrs and on azathioprine for the last one year. I mentioned if aza could elevate ALP but GI denied stating it will be AST/ALT which will raise due to aza and he suspects possible PSC. He had given ultrasound initially and everything looks fine there except fatty liver. Now he is moaning about MRCP if ALP stays persistently high. So I am wondering if any body had any views on PSC and the values of ALP in PSC diagnosis

Male 41 years
Dx'd with Left Sided UC March 2013.Currently flaring mid descending to mid transverse colon. Daily enemas, 2.4 gm oral. On pred 30 mg tapering 5 mg weekly, on aza 50 mg.
I have UC and PSC. 63 year old male.
Was diagnosed with UC in 2016.
I think they formally told me I had PSC around 2020.
I get blood work done every six months and a yearly MRCP scan to keep an eye on it.
No FDA approved medicine for it at the moment. But several trials in the works. And Lord willing, an approved medicine for it soon.
