Jon,
I am so glad you said that, I always have my shoulders up to my ears from stress....I have to make myself consciously put them down everyday...several times a day...its terrible.
I went to physical therapy and the man was amazed at the amount of stress I carry through my neck and shoulders!

Yep..PT helped me alot too. I just wish the vision didn't get goofy on my left side. It doesn't seem to be a common problem related to a tension style headache.

My shoulders are ALWAYS hunched up too, and i know this is a huge contributor to the tension in my neck which then leads to my headaches. Its so hard sometimes to catch yourself and relax the shoulders. I try relaxation techniques that my therapist gave to me, and I'm not sure they work - its one of those things where you relax parts of your body at one time.
I think I am going to try massage therapy again, physical therapy really didn't do much for me. And yes, everyone is always so amazed, chiropractor, doctor, massage therapist, physical therapist, at how tense my shoulders are constantly. I don't get it!
Well anyways, I just wanted to know if I was th eonly one who gets tenderness in the temples... it must be from the muscle tension in that area.
My mom keeps wanting me to buy this thing she saw on an infomercial (yeah, i know), by this Dr. Ho guy... its apparently an electric massage therapy kit... supposedly it helps all kind of people with things from headaches to fibro to chronic pain. So maybe I will try it... Check it out if you want... they have a 30 day money back garuntee so I guess if its total bunk you can just send it back :)
Well thanks for the help guys :)
ali
