Within the last 3 years my hair has thinned just in the top area. On top of thinning, my scalp is very sensitive. Following my doctors advise, I stopped using any perms and color in my hair. I'm also taking Biotin, extra dosage, this has not helped. My hair grows fine around the side and back area. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Are you on medication? I lost a lot of my (formerly) thick hair while on PPIs.

I take prilosec. That has been causing some hair loss for me as well.

I was told that the hairloss can be stress related,(does that make sense?) I'm using minoxodil (rogaine) to at least slow the hairloss, propecia apparently is good too
