Hi Di -- Thanks for checking in. . . I've been lurking . . of course our board losses always send me for a loop. I finished my semester in grad school last week and will finish my Master's degree in education at the end of July. . . Still have one more week of school here . . I need a break. I have taken Abraxane and despite the bone pain it seems that it is really working. My onc feels no evidence of nodes anywhere. A scan later will give us the definitive report. I have two to go and then do just Herceptin for a while . . hopefully a long while!
I will post more once school is out!

Jackie, glad the Abraxane is working. And big congrats on the Master's degree. So glad I got to meet you in person. You're a lovely woman. Also, as I have told you many times before, you were the first person to post to me when I began posting on iv six years ago.

I have been thinking about you so much lately and wondering how you are. Great to see that you are reaching your goals with the masters and still enjoying the teaching. We desperately need great music teachers in our schools. Hope all your year end activities go smoothly, not to mention papers and finals with the Masters. I escaped having to do a thesis with mine (yea) but wrote so many papers it was unbelievable, so I can commiserate!
Hope you and your sister Joni are doing something fun soon and that you are enjoying those grandbabies.

Thanks so much for answering. With all that you are doing, I'm not surprised that you are lurking. Congratulations on your Masters. I have mine too in education and I know how much work that is. However, I did mine before I started teaching so that was a lot easier for me. And, I didn't have a family. You are AMAZING!
