When you say cancer free. Are you still taking meds... I am cancer free but with meds.
diagnosed 68 Jan 2014 PSA 4.5 4+3 = 7
robotic March 2014
Mar 2020 PetScan found nodules in both lungs Biopsy stage 4 PSA 1.03 now May 2020 bone scan clean. and started Degarelix and zytiga/prednisone
July 2023 had a scan and now no cancer
Nov 2024 colon cancer... then after operation 6" taken out they found no cancer
So still cancer free

@ Steve0 No meds. My cancer was organ confined so I continue PSA blood test monitoring at the VA.

Tim, congrats, 20 years is an amazing number. I don’t think we’ve seen many guys here stick around on the forum that long. Very happy for you.
Have you ever thought about stopping PSA tests after a certain number of years? Or at a certain age?
I didn’t even realize, this past January was 10 years since my surgery. But I need another 2 1/2 years to be 10- years past BCR and Salvage radiation. I’m thinking, if I make it to 80 (who knows, with my heart issues, fingers crossed) I may want to stop testing.

Sept 2018 thru May 2026 –PSA = <.05

The VA does automatic annual PSA testing because I am getting Agent Orange disability benefits.
