Everything went fine.  The MRI showed no new involvement.  I am very happy about that.  The pain I am having is from the tumor pulling on a muscle.  The doc. switched my chemo to doxil and gave me my first dose today.  I am so happy there was no nerve involovement.  The pain will remain until this thing shrinks.  Today it seems to be off and on.  Doc wants me on vicodin, not motrin.  How am I going on Joseph's field trip to the Museum of Natural History tomorrow on Vicodin?, lol  Thanks for all of your good thoughts and prayers, they worked.

Great news! I'm so happy that there is no new involvement for you! That must be a lot of pain for you, though, with the tumor pulling muscle. Ouch! Good luck on the field trip tomorrow!

So happy that you had good news and no new involvment. I just hope that you can make it through the museum trip tomarrow on vicodin that should be a sight to see! I fall asleep on that stuff. I will pray for FAST shrinkage so that you will be out of pain.

I'm so happy there is no new involvement, but sorry you are going through the pain.  Wishing for you a major, fast shrinkage of the da__ed tumor!  Hope you can enjoy the museum.

When I was about 20 or so, I went to the Museum of Natural History, shall we say... under the influence of a substance that alters your perception.  I'll never forget it.  I think you'll have a good time. 

 
Please take it beforehand so you don't get into a pain crisis while walking in the museum.  Once you get one of those bad spikes in pain, morphine can't even take it away.  If you medicate it beforehand, then you can circumvent it and be more functional and comfortable on the trip.
 
Have a great time, although it probably won't be as great a time as I had, LOL

I took a bunch to a dinosaur exhibit and I have to tell you I think I was the only one interested. No matter what I said they looked for two seconds and wanted to move on. I hate the smell of gin never mind drink it. Well I am here to confess I would have downed a martini about half way through, and probably looked for more.LOL So maybe this is a good thing. You might just have a great time. L&H Joyce

Happy to hear you got such good news. I sure was fun reading everyone's ideas about your trip to the museum. Now you will have to tell us about it. I love to take my grandchildren to our museum, they have the IMAX theater there so we always see a couple of shows. I was picturing you climbing the stairs to sit down with pain medication. It makes me dizzy under normal circumstances. Hugs MK
