Update on lung biopsy...

Well, I had a repeat CT scan today and the lesion is unchanged.  I think the doctor had hoped that it would be smaller, hence not a tumor but probably an infection or some other annoyance. So we proceded to schedule the lung needle biopsy at Sloan Kettering, but they can't do it until July 26! UGH! My doctor here in NJ said it is a very tricky procedure made much more difficult by my implants. My doctor at Sloan Kettering agreed that it can be very tricky and would prefer I do it there. I guess the two biggest concerns are a possible collapsed lung or a deflated implant! So the waiting continues..... L&H, Frayda

July 26th will be here soon, Frayda. I am sorry you have to wait and worry until then but you are wise to go to the best place for an intricate procedure. We will be there with you. Hugs and prayers. MK

Oh Frayda, we know the waiting stinks! I am so sad you are going through all this, you have had a lot of tests lately and I hope this one turns out to be negative too....we'll be waiting with you and keeping all fingers crossed!

Frayday, it's so hard to wait. Even though we aren't you, we're all hating the wait too! please let me know if there's anything at all that I can do! I will say a prayer each day for this whole procedure and for the outcome! L&H,

How hard to be going through this now.  Please know I am praying that all will go well with your biopsy and that you will get B9 answers. The waiting is always just plain hard, but I agree that you are so smart to go where they will give you the best care.  Stressful with all your sister is going through too.
