The last update we had on Mel was a couple of weeks ago, so I called her mil this morning. She told me there is really no change that Mel is hanging on to life. Hospice comes during the week to bathe and take care of her needs, and on weekends her mil's aide at the nursing home where she usually works comes to help her bathe and care for Mel. She says it takes two now to move her. Mike and the boys have the house finished and have moved over there for sleeping and more space but it doesn't make sense to move Mel because her mil takes care of her most of the time. I told her to tell her we all love her and are continuing to keep her in our prayers. Can you believe it has been three months since they went to OK? Our energizer bunny has not run out of battery yet. She says very little but seems aware of people around, etc. Hugs MK
My daily prayers are with Mel and her family. Such strength they all have.

Mel is one remarkable lady and she is proving it. Please let her know she is in my prayers as is her family, if you talk to her MIL again. That must be hard on her caring for our Mel all the time, but she is doing it out of her love for Mel, Mike and the boys I am sure. Keep in touch and hang in there - everyone.
Thinking of you daily, Mel. Love you,
Kitty
