Update on Melody

I called and talked to her mother in law today and learned that Mel is pretty much status quo. Some days are better than others.  She said today she was in extreme pain and they could not move her head.  She felt they had let the pain get too strong before giving her medication, but it is difficult to tell when that is happening when she sleeps so much.  I told her to give Mel a hug and tell her we are all still praying for her.  I told her I should have called earlier but I guess that I was afraid to call.  She said she understood, sometimes she is afraid to go into Mel's room or even to close her eyes.  Mel is certainly incredible.  Hugs MK

much pain..It is difficult getting pain under control...sigh. I am
hoping that that is under control very soon. Mel is amazing !

Dear MK, I know that call had to be hard to make. Thank you for the update and I will always keep Mel in my prayers. She is one really neat lady. L&H, Gail

Mel is so incredible. I just can't believe that this is happening. I will pray for her pain to be under control. The things she has been through I just can't imagine. My trials have been nothing compared to our Mel. Love to you Mel if you are having messages read to you. I keep you in my heart. Di

{{{MK}}} thank you so much for the update. I am so sorry to hear that Mel is in pain. I hope they can get that under control and at least she can rest peacefully. She is quite a trooper. I think about her every day and like Luci said, I hold my breath when I open the board of a morning. Keeping you and Mel in my prayers.

Thanks for the update MK.  I'm like Luci, when I log on I hate to think of what I may see on the board.  It has been so much lately.  Mel is such a trooper and has been so incredibly strong, it makes me so sad for all she has gone through.  Her entire family has been so strong for her too.  Imagine little Ian knows his Mama is very ill. 

Prayers for Mel and everyone else struggling with health issues.  You are never far from my thoughts.  God Bless you all.
