I had a 3D mammogram yesterday. I saw results in my health portal. It said Left Asym. The letter recommends further evaluation on the left breast and says I have dense breasts. I am overwhelmed with worry. Have you all had this mammogram results? What happens in follow up? What is the likely outcome?
I also have dense breasts. They usually followup with another mammogram and/or ultrasound - no big deal. I've also had multiple biopsies that have all proven to be negative. I know you are stressed, but they are only suggesting further evaluation. I'm sure you'll feel a lot better when you speak to your doctor.

Thank you so much. My appointment is tomorrow. I am certainly in a high state of alarm. I feel very tired and worried. They said I have extremely dense breasts. They said I would have contrast enhanced digital mammography. They would check both breasts. I feel very afraid to get the scan and certainly afraid of the results. Thank you for your response.
