You should definitly ask your doctor about taking a supplement that will give you more than the daily allowance - especially with B vitamins.
hey thanks for the reply, any information really helps. i went to my doctor to ask him about it and he said that taking it in high dosages is safe enough as its a water soluble vitamin and will be excreted out in your urine. My doc told me it was a good idea as he said that he heard that it is really effective against migraines although it takes about 2 months to have a real effect and he thinks this combined with the amitriptyline will really help me, i hope so....fingers crossed. regards timur

Yes, actually B2 is a vitamin that is used to help in preventing migraines.
Take a look at MigraHealth...that has B2, magnesium and feverfew. I always suggest to talk to your doctor before starting anything like this.
I have taken it for a while and it has been a big help. Of course, avoiding triggers and taking your regular medication regimine is important. Its essential to take MigraHealth (or anything else for migraine prevention) regularly. (There is a book called Heal Your Headache 1-2-3, I highly suggest to read this even if you do not want to use MigraHealth/Migralief...there is a lot of great information regarding headaches, I have read 60+ books and this is in my top 5)
Please do some research on your own and don't take anyone's word on this. This is your health and wellbeing, doing your own homework and talk to your doctor!!!
