Hi! I had a strange sensation when I was walking into the grocery store this morning.
My heart felt like it was "fluttering" and I got dizzy for about ten seconds. I was just wondering if anyone knew what this could be..... It was scary. Its very hot outside here, about 85 so I dont know if that could have had something to do with it, and I was also in a hurry.
Im just grateful it went away so quickly, but now I cant stop thinking about it. Thanks for your time and support!!!
This might be a simple solution.
Did you have something to eat earlier, or rather, enough to eat? It sounds almost like your body didn't have enough energy and started shutting down for a 10 second period.

Hi Bria, I have times when I get alot of premature hearbeats, mostly PAC's I am told by the doctor, but I also get PVC's. I do get the fluttery heartbeat from time to time and it scares the *&#@ out of me. Mine can actually last a couple of minutes. I am always thinking it is going to cause me to pass out or die BUT it never does and then it stops. From what I have read and heard from others on another site, it seems like the flutter is a run of PAC's. It is the most common thing to cause the fluttery sensation. They are completely benign even when in a run like that and won't hurt me at all. However I would feel better if the cardiologist actually caught one of these runs on a monitor and said "Oh yeah, they really are just a run of PAC's", instead I think he and his nursing staff are tired of me and won't do anything any more. If you get many more of these sensation I'd check it out with your doctor to be sure but hopefully you won't get another one.
