I'm just wondering if anyone has had any weight gain side effet from wellbutrin xl. the pdoc says that she has not had anyone gain weight from this, but then again they say zoloft dosen't either! Any posts on this med would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I have been taking both Zoloft and Wellbutrin XL since June and have not had any weight gain. Meds effect people differently though.

No weight gain but I had a hard time sleeping on it.
I have had no weight gain so far and i'm taking both Zoloft and Wellbutrin. I can never sleep at night and then i want to sleep all day.
Thanks for your posts, 20lb weight gain in 5 months or less, then off zoloft for 1 month with bad withdrawl, then unto wellbutrin xl, lost about 7lbs of probaly water gain in a couple weeks, now about a week and half later gaining weight again, about 3 lbs back in a week in half. Staying to a strict deit and excersing, whats a person to do, depressed with medication due to weight gain and depressed with out it!!!
