My fraternal twin boys are having very strange bowel movements -- they are about 4 months old(6 weeks if you adjust for their prematurity). They have liquidy black/green horrendous smelling stools and even worse gas! One boy had normal poops which changed to this overnight when he was about 2 months old, my other son's changed to this right after hernia surgery(around 3 months old). Both their forheads are fairly salty...how salty is too salty? No lung issues or infections so far, no clubbing of their fingers or toes. They are growing and gaining weight. Do these sound like CF symptoms?

Anyone? And...about the saltiness...should it be salty on any part of their skin or mainly their forheads? Also, are there any CF treatment plans for babies who aren't yet on solid food?

I remember my twins having salty skin that was almost too salty to taste and left a iron taste. In infancy, the skin smelled like poop, because they were so backed up. In infancy, very hard to burp, fatty bulky stringy stools.
black sounds to me like iron, giving vitamins?
