what company (suppliers) do you guys use to get your supplies??? do they except insurance? the ones i'm finding on the internet wont take insurance.

My insurance does not cover ostomy supplies. Edgepark discounts 40% to customers who have insurance that won't cover. Thought that might help in case you find yourself in that situation. You have to mention it to them, I don't think they volunteer that info.

I ordered on line and a man called me today and said they got my order wanted to know what hospital I was in and said he would sent me a catalog. he never said anything about the insurance , so I guess that is a good sign. I called my insurance twice to talk to someone to see what they covered, but because of their phone system after i went through all the cr#p of giving my numbers and everything, I was told to either hold for aprox. 20 minutes or leave a message , so I left a message , I was supost to get a call back within two business days , but never heard a thing. I had to get this stuff ordered or I would have ran out.
Its nice to know that I can get 40% off incase they wont pay. You have been a huge help.

I called my insurance company, after buying supplies myself for 20 years, and asked, it took over an hour, but they had an agreement with a supply company. It is amazing, I phone in a request, 4 days later I have the supplies and never a bill, not even a copay. Insurance is Aetna, but of course every group plan is different
