Hi,
Can anyone define the surgical phrase "Fat Stranding" or "Mesenteric Fat Stranding"? It's a phrase that's often used in association with inflammatory processes in the bowel. It's a commonly used term but I can't find a definition/explanation of it anywhere on the Internet.
