What Makes Your Heart Happy?

 

Perhaps it's a poem, a thought or someone's good deed?  How about something simple like a good friend and a quiet evening?  An accomplisment that you, a friend or a family member have done?  Maybe something just extra special from yesterday, today or tomorrow that just made you smile?!

 

Here's our own space to write about things that makes us happy and in doing so, it keeps your heart in tune and functioning happily!

being happy is being able to do the CERT Class with me haveing two heart atacaks and loving it and being alive ,being able to walk,talk,see,hear and be able to post on this board adn Teri check out Good Morning I posted it there then saw this so sorry  ok.

being around my fiance, basketball, watching basketball especially the portland trailblazers, this forum and all the friendly supportive people, my co workers(well maybe 2 or 3 of them), and just losing more weight, keeping my blood pressure down and just trying to better myself.

Haveing my JAXCERT Pictures  shown at the Huricane Conference in Tampa, Fl next week that i took at the fire Academy so people can see what we are trained to do   but they will say taken by then my name I really am happy and boy did I get compliments on the pics.

Seeing my granddaughter. Even just pictures of her, but seeing her in person is even better along with her daddy and mommy.

Scrapbooking with my hubby and looking back on great moments in time.

Taking the pups to the dog park and watching them play until they are exhausted. I get in my exercise that way too. It's fun to see all the other dogs too and talk to the owners. In fact I think I may bring them again today after work.

Cooking for my family and friends.

SUMMER TIME Cookouts, Camping, swimming, hiking, biking oh and this year the DOG PARK! lol Barb

my furkids and  Getting ready for a busy hurricane season and hopeing they are wrrong but  4 major huricanes hitting the east Coast Somewhere and one a category 5 justn helping people during this time who cannot help themselves and also helping the community ut too.

LOve it all.

Barb I got 9 dogs 6 cats 4 chickens and a rooster.

Wow Heidi you are a animal lover especially in the dog department. So do any of your dogs do search and rescue or pet therapy? What kind of dogs are they? We have a pure bred rat terrier we rescued from the local pound and then my daughter has a 9 month old malamute/german shepard mix. He is such a handful to take care of. He was very sick with worms and infection when my daughter bought him. If I had that full name and address I would turn him in. The dog couldn't even walk at 2 months old he would walk a few steps and fall over. He was so thin his ribs showed and he was only 5 pounds. They are a joy though aren't they. Barb

PS BArb that is why I say harm a child or  furkid go under the jail not in it.

My husband calls me cotton mouth our 26 year old twin sons  Hang 'em no plea bargin or Judge Dread. that is why I couldnot be come a animal care and control oficer for our local animal shelter I would have to many people in jail or written up for abusing animals. I am glad your daughters furkid is better that is how cocoa baby was. But we brought her through that I have many at rainbow bridge too.

Oh Heidi, I enjoyed hearing about all your dogs. What about your other pets? Names ect. We have a bunny, parakeet and then the two pups. We have had lots of hamsters and 3 guinea pigs. My most recent hamster had to be put down last month because of tumor on chest. I think my favorite animals are dogs and hamsters. My very favorite wild animal is the panda. I have seen 3 live pandas in my life. That was so awesome. I think the dogs were sad today because they heard me say something about the dog park but we couldn't go. We have to spell it out now because they know what it is. My little dog Abby got attacked yesterday by a rotweiler. I was not happy. and the last time a pit bull tried to rip my big dogs throat out. Think I will discourage them from playing with those breeds from now on. Well have to go get ready for work now. Look forward to hearing more about your animals. Barb

What makes my HEART HAPPY???  The warm good feeling you get when you make someone else happy!!!  That is what makes my heart happy--

What does my heart good is to be near family and friends, having the confidence to know that I will be able to support myself in the future, and have the ability to pay for my medicine and not have to miss any. Another thing that makes me happy is to feel close to God, whether in home, at church, or anyplace in my life. One last thing is having people like y'all to run ideas by and get support and encouragement.

what makes my hearthappy is finding 2 of my husbands  High school friends and one of their sisters where they stayed on the phone talking for over 2 hours each all of them are 63 Harry turned 63 2 weks ago my hubby on the 27th of this month then his other friend sherman 63 in June  they were a wild bunch hot rodding body surfing etc and they are still want together opne  day at our place go fishing surfing etc and lets hope no drag raceing. middle aged men living out their HS fantsy's .

P.S. he found Shermans Sister  Elizaabeth age 79 she called us got machine so we willcall her later on this afternoon.:)

Just seing the llok on is face when they called and talked like a little boy in a candy shoip.
