Hi can anyone tell me where to buy milk free products from, My son has milk & gluton allergy, he is only 6 months, so I have got a bit of info from heinz & cow+Gate, but Im wanting to know in advance for things like butter, bread, chocolate, are you able to buy these these products anywhere without milk or gluton in. Any info would be very appreciated. I'm in the uk & willing to buy from abroad, but uk would be better. Online stores would be great too.

I am not from the Uk but I buy my lactose free milk from my local grocer but if they have a natural foods store in your area you might want to try that. In these stores they sell goat's milk, cheeses etc. Plus too you can check out www.zerbos.com but their shopping section is under construction right now. I don't usuely visit the allergy section here, but I spied your post and thought I could help.
I am from the UK too. Try Holland and Barrett,they do soya yoghurts,Rice milk and soya milk and also a soya margarine that doesnt taste too bad at all.There is also a section for gluten free bread ,cakes, and biscuits. There is dairy free chocolate too. You can even get sweets that are very similer to smarties but they are also dairy free.

Hi,Glade that you found us,I don't normaly post on the board but I do have asthma thoe.Here in the US we have thing's such as rice milk made out of rice and it is the only thing I can drink and to tell you th truth I like rice milk a whole lot better than cow milk.I have crohns so it does not bother it like cow milk.I also try to use as much organic food's as possible I found that I'am better of because some food's as you know can make you flare with the asthma and allergies.I do hope that this help's oh and most of what i have said you can get at the grocery store.
