I'm sorry to hear all the pain your dealing with right now.I definetly think you need to seek advice of a doctor,there is no doubt about that.The numbness on one side is what caught my attention.Have you heard of Bells Palsey? I had an episode of it when I was 15.It caused major migraines,fatigue,light sensivity,and amoung those-numbness on one side.I was numb on the left side of my face.One doctor insisted it was just migraines, so I went to another-and thats when they told me thats what it was(Bells Palsey). I could have taken steroids for it but my doctor said it would go away on it's own within a few monthes. At 15 I opted for that because I heard the word "weight gain and steroids" and completly freaked out. It did go away after time.And since I have been dx with Migraines and Vertigo.I have also been dx with IBS and Ulcerative Colitis.Anytime you have pain that keeps you up at night you should tell a doctor...it really sucks,I know.I am only giving you my experience,but I am not a medical expert...it could be anything.Maybe a cat scan could help figure things out too. Sometimes when i talk half of my face will move but the right side will stay still and i slur my words... is that what happend to you? How long did ur headaches last?
I suffer from migraines too, but they have been better recently. What you said in your last post got my attention. What Colee said about seeing a doctor is a good idea and get a referral to a Neurologist. Do you smoke and are you on the pill? My N. took me off the pill about 2 or 3 years ago and my migraines got alot better. Because I smoke he was concerned. (Now 33, back then around 30)
Yes,the left side of my face stayed in one position while the other side would smile.I tried not to have any expression because it was embarrassing to have only one side of your face move and the other just kinda layed there.It didnt sag too bad for me.However,I went to school with a girl that had Bells and her face did sag on one side.I think she had it worse then I did. My speech was altered by it as well.But now you couldnt even tell I had it. Thats not the case for everyone though...you should get into your doctor and be referred as mentioned above. Well,as far as headaches go I am still getting them ten years later...but I think I remember them going away for awhile after a few monthes. It's been so long ago it's hard to rememeber everything,sorry:( Good luck with everything.

Hi Lizzy, It doesn't matter what anyone says or doesn't say--if you're in pain, and you need help getting it under control, then you should see a Dr.
What you have could be a migraine, or the Bell's thing, or something else, I don't know, and there's no way I could know, because I'm not a Dr. In my opinion, you should get in to see your Dr as soon as you can. Be sure to take the list of symptoms that you posted above, and give it to the Dr. But most importantly, see a Dr. Best of luck.
Hi Lizzy I agree with brynn, go see your Doctor and run past him/her all your symptom's, it could be that it's just a very bad migraine but it's far better to be sure, I suffer from migraines at least once a month of various strength's and have had all kinds of symptoms even ended up in hospital due to vomiting so much I dehydrated, not a plesent experience. Please see your Doc then come back an let us know how you are doing.
with all these symptoms you suffer the only thing that would relief them all together would be what I am always shouting about to migraine sufferers is migracap its fast and my god its effective,so don,t forget to try this for size. regards estelle
