Good deal, Ellie! See no cancer. Of course, with a smoking history there is always a bigger chance. I smoked for 22 years, finally successfully quit 3 years ago. I am very scared of something happeneing to me, too. How ******* stupid! What an idiot! All so I could smell bad. You did quit didn't you?

Now if I can get past this ungodly neck pain I'll be great. BP really IS a pain in the neck.
LOL, good one Ellie! I have heard that BPs usually have neck problems from all the years of mania tensing the neck and causing spasm. My entire neck is arthritic and stays in constant spasm, even massage therapists can't get them out. I'm really looking forward to MORE neck pain, haha.
I am glad you quit, it's awful.

Now I"m going to complain, so if you're in a bad place you might not want to read further.
My wonderful husband didn't ask how my dr appt went last friday I finally just told him. He knew I was panicing all weekend over those x-rays, I even mentioned it to him before he went to work yesterday. Did he ask? No. Isn't that true love for you. I didn't tell him either. He obviously doesn't care one way or the other. He spent five hours on the comp playing EQ. Now that was important. I doubt very much he'll remember our anniversary this weekend either and you can bet I won't.
He's making noises about the meds again too. Making comments about how they make me irritable. Ok thats true until I adjust. Hes insisting I stay that way the entire time I'm on them and thats just a boldfaced lie. I calmed significantly last time within two weeks. He just doesn't want to fork out the cash. If he really feels like he can't handle this, he can find the door and I'll do it alone. I don't need any man to be complete. Actually I kinda like it when Its just me and the kids. I get lonely, but I'm lonely now. Theres nothing worse than being with someone who doesn't know you're alive. It's all about the games. I think the only reason he came back is because his sister threw him out. This was just convenient.
Ok, I'm done whining now. I hope you're feeling better today.

BP brings new meaning to Life's Little Ups and Downs
I'm so sorry he's like that. He is a jerk of the highest caliber. Yeah, I know what you mean about being lonely IN a relationship. I had one like that when I was early 20's, alcoholic, abusive mentally, he actually did call me a manic depressive and that was before I got formally diagnosed, lol. I was miserable it was the only time I actually came within a hair of slitting my wrists. I was all ready in the tub, but I just couldn't do it. The next day is when I went, got dxd and started Lithium, a week later I moved out. I was soooooo much happier to be rid of that burden.
I am sooo happy and proud that you are determined this time and aren't going to let him stop you from getting well. You know, because of you and Sandy that's why I am going to brave the side effects of Abilify and really give it a chance.
Like a fool I took it last night like my pdoc said to , but I cut my dose of Seroquel in half because I had been waking up foggy and blah. Well, as you can rpobably guess, I prett much was up the entire night. But mind is oh so busy, and body very tired. So, it's a good thing I did all the housework and laundry yesterdy so I can relax today and will have time to paint (art). I really feel like it today.

I really didn't sleep much last night either. NOt due to meds though. My thirteen yr old woke me a little after four , screaming her brains out because there was a wolf spider iln her room and it ran across her foot. I almost had a stroke. She woke up the whole house. Thats the fourth wolfie this year and they only get more frequent (and bigger) later in the fall. We also have a serious problem with brown recluse spiders. I've set out probably thirty glue traps and have caught quite a few of the little monsters. Looks like its going to be an active spider season this year. Its been really wet in this part of MO this last month and I think that makes them worse.
