How does anxiety make one dizzy? Suffering every day!

Many pps suffer from agoraphobia (as well as many other phobias) I have bumped a thread up from awhile back for those of you that may not have seen it

Just for clarity when you say dizzy do you mean spacey, things are a little bit floaty and moving your head makes it worse (vertigo I guess) or the world is spinning and you can't seem to stop it, literally spinning left to right or right to left on your horizontal even when you close your eyes or something else.
I have had the world is spinning dizzyness right out of the blue and always contributed it to ear infection of some sort-I generally end up throwing up (blek-sorry) and am better the next day. I have that floatyness off and on now since being on meds and will be talking to my doc.
So just wondering about the kinds of dizzinesses experienced.

When I put my foot in my mouth I hope someone will tell me before I wiggle my toes.

I went through a period of dizziness my senior year in college several years ago. I was under a lot of stress, but I didn't realize it was anxiety. I was diagnosed over that summer with hypogylcemia. It was definitely caused from the anxiety. It eventually went away but it was very disturbing and disrupting at the time. I still have some dizziness from time to time. Experience has helped me deal with it.
