It appears that our full names show on our posts unless we go into our profiles and change it. Is there a way to change the default to only our first name? There are a lot of old members who rarely stop by and now will have their full names showing when previously we were all anonymous. I’m sure that many will not appreciate having their full names showing on public forums about health conditions.
P.S. I LOVE the new look!!! Clean, easy, extra features – will be back to play around a little more!!
I don’t believe that I ever used my real name when using the website. I did use it in private, away-from-healing-well, emails to the former owner, Peter. I guess that’s how it showed up when I logged in just now. I am NOT HAPPY about that…I am an old member who only checks in once or twice a year now, and it was quite a surprise to find my real name exposed to everyone (people don’t even need to login to see it). If I’d saved a copy of the original privacy statement I’d be raising holy hell…
I just noticed there’s a topic about the new look in the “News and Announcements” section and they are asking for feedback there for any changes members can suggest.
