For those that are interested, Netflix has a couple of documentaries that pertain to chronic illness.
The first one I watched is called: Afflicted. They follow 7 people that are affected by Lyme, chemical sensitivity, mold, EMF, and M.E. The man with Lyme talks a little about depersonalizations and other symptoms.
The second one I watched is called: Unrest. It shows the life of people dealing with M.E./CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). This one was a little bit harder for me to watch, since I have dealt with crippling fatigue.
*EDIT: I forgot to also mention: The Bleeding Edge. This is about medical devices implanted in people. For example: Essure, mesh implants, and prosthetic hip implants. The one man (who is also a doctor) had a prosthetic hip implant and suffered greatly from Cobalt metal toxicity. He had a lot of neurological issues.

Thanks for posting this, just took a look at Afflicted last night and skipped through to the people with Lyme. I'm only a few episodes in but can't believe 3 of the 7 have already been diagnosed with Lyme.
I saw an article about the show that said "The show you won't be able to relate to"-- I just thought, wanna bet?
The one doctor mentioned something about catching the lyme bacteria by doing an ultrasound?? I've never heard of that before.Igenex results:

Have not been able to see a LLMD yet, waiting until I move back to the USA. Currently in Ontario, Canada.
I have watched Unrest before and totally forgot that I did, pretty sure it was last year or this year...as I vaguely recall, it was heartbreaking and familiar at the same time.

"3 of the 7 have been diagnosed with Lyme ". It is pretty sad how many people get misdiagnosed and not believed about their symptoms.
"The show you won't be able to relate to ". It should be called: The Nightmare too many people can relate to.
I'm not sure about the ultrasound. I might have missed/forgot about this part. Maybe someone else knows more about it.

I hope that you are able to watch the whole series. It can be hard for some people to watch depending on how their symptoms are emotionally and physically.
It reminds me of being in this quasi-recovery (actually unwell) state along with many of these folks.
I don't know why that young lady didn't go for that free stem cell treatment valued at 20 grand for ten days for the fat stem cell infusion...I would have gone for it!
She mentioned a mold complication. She may be right, after her own consultations. I don't know that much about it.
Other thoughts: the guy that doesnt leave his room and is too weak to do anything, it's no joke that level of fatigue, I was at a point where I could not lift a coffee mug...yes trauma triggers, but while they hint at psychosomatic angle, I believe it is very much organic still, the nasty bugs take up in the nerves and cause asthenia (weakness)... light sensitivity, extreme fatigue, well you know..
And Dr. K in Washington, that one test with ultrasound (?) to scare spirochetes into the kidneys and then measure them in urine, that seems to be a fool-proof way to get a better diagnosis. I wonder if band 31 is B. Afzelli or B. Guaranni?... (I got a 1-plus positive on band 31 via IGenex, if I had the cash I would do a stony brook, an Armin labs and go visit Dr K in Washington State but I don't have a spouse with 2.5M to spend like that abundantly blessed lady does) and maybe that stem cell place in beverly hills... I would basically travel for my health because I'm being critically delayed where I am...
I pretty much binge watched the entire series' episodes while doing some repetitive online work..
