Joan,
Speaking of aloe vera...I have a spectacular aloe vera plant that grows indoors. It has been nothing less than a miracle healer when placed on fresh burns. I would very much like to ingest some - taking just the inside pulp, because I have heard that the part near the surface is what gives you diarrhea. However, I have read that it is "dangerous" to eat aloe vera. Does anyone have any experience with eating fresh aloe?

Be careful about the amount you take of the capsules. I bought a particular brand on line (exxxxxpensive) and all they did to me is make me constipated. I ended up not using them and throwing them away. What a waste of money..

Hi
Have any of you guys heard of active manuka honey, i have just started taking it its completely natural, google it and see what you get. I am a nurse and we have just started after all these years to use honey again in the treatment of burns and leg ulcers etc,it claims to be suitable for use in GERD and ulcers, lots of companies produce it, so i am giving it a try.

A friend who is Mexican healed his eye with honey. I guess I got away from honey when I tried the carbohydrate diet... How are you taking the manuka honey? I am going to try local organic honey in the same quantity and let's compare, okay? Keep us posted with the results of your trial.
