Has anyone taken or taking amitriptyline? I'm terribly scared to try it but I also don't know how I can go on with these headaches!

I just started it last week, and I am only taking 1/2 of the 10mg pills my doctor gave me, but I am already noticing an improvement in my headaches. I have felt a lot more tired though (although I am sleeping great), but it will be worth it to not have headache pain any longer.
Thanks Mabel426 so much for sharing! I heard that it can make one zombie like when you first start it but hopefully that wears off! Yes to be headache free or even much fewer headaches would be pretty wonderful!
