can anyone give advice about this feeling nauseous iknow its anxiety doc says but why do i try to make myself vomit am i goin mad its not like me im pretty positive person but this has really got me anyone else like this thanks
Anxiety can cause stomach acid to become too high, causing nausea and even vomiting...have you tried an antacid?
If this is not the issue, then keep working on lowering your stress levels and try a change in diet.
A high protein meal of lean chicken for example has been proven helpful in relaxing the stomach muscles associated with cramping. (which goes along with the nausea)
Also stick with bland carbohydrates...think toast, or rice/noodles, and avoid anything fried/greasy or processed.
I hope that you feel better soon. Try increasing your relaxation and breathing exercises until you get some relief!:)

Whonow,
To answer your question regarding A/D meds and St John's Wort.
I believe that one has to do what is best for ones's self in regards to mental health. If you and your doctor feel that you need medication to feel your best, then you should by all means take it. If you needed a medicine to fix a physical problem, you would certainly take it...this is no different.
Are there other things to be tried as well? Absolutely! Therapy should always be part of a recovery treatment in my opinion.
I actually tried therapy first, with the option of getting on medication after, if I still needed help. Turns out the therapy was sufficient for me and my issues...but everyone is different, so some may benefit from both...and that is great to have those options, right?
As far as the natural suppliments...they can be great...but proceed with caution. Natural does not always mean safe! You would be wise to check with your doctor before starting on an herbal, to check for interactions. I know that you should not do both a prescription A/D with St. John's Wort for example...so always let your doctor know what you are thinking about taking.:)
I hope that gives you some ideas on how to proceed with your treatment...but remember, these are only my opinions...and you need to make the informed choice for yourself with the help of your doctor.
Good luck and keep posting.:)
