i have not long been diagnoised with gerd. i also suffer with health anxiety and panic attacks.
i hope someone out there can give me a bit of advice.
i get really bad pain and achiness in my ribs, especially along my bra line. somedays it feels like they r being squeezed by a tight iron band. i am awaiting to c a consultant about fibro, but i'm not sure wether its that.
can gerd cause rib pain. it always seems to be the ribs straight under my bust, if u get what i'm trying to say.
with suffering with health anxiety i have come up with alsorts that could be wrong including breast cancer, as the pain sometimes feels as though is in my breast. i also seem to get it alot more on the right side then the left.
i have been checked for gallstones and had blood tests done which have all come back normal.
is this pain down to my gerd and if so how do others cope. many thanks in advance
yep all the symptoms you describe i have and it is caused by a hernia, gerd and the biggy anxiety. i take a med for the gerd and a med to control my anxiety. i have a heart health issue so i get a bit anxious over that every now and again, but mostly all A types are thsi way, relas, your ribs are sore probably do two muscles being tight, that would make everything hurt, i am not a doctor, but i have all the same stuff so that is my dime on the subject lol bye for now
At your next doctor appointment ask about costochondritis. This may be the problem you are experiencing.
