my husband was recently dx w/hepc to go along w/crohns .doc says the treatments make each other worse.anyone know anything about this?he has appt. w/new Dr.s this month.
oh no i am so sorry. i also have both and have just found out that i am so bad with over 2 million viruses in my blood- i really dont know what that means- but i feel alful...:0
and i have to go on interferon... i am hearing so much bad about it that i am starting to balk! i am in 24/7 pain from fibro and arthritis and stuff, that i sure dont want anymore pain. i wish i could help you with info, but i will pray for you all. i hope it wprks out for that best. i feel like we are all guinea pigs..

I've got hep C and crohn's too, but the hep C hasn't taken over my liver yet... I've got to take so much medicines for my being bipolar, my crohn's, my seizures, my menstual cycle since my bitubal ligation, and my acid reflux, that I don't expect that it's going to be much longer. 
they didn't give me any results on my liver while I was in there this past week... over my crohns. I just know that I've been fighting illnesses every two years of my life since 14 and I'm 32 now. See, every two years, something comes along and puts me in the hospital... I was really hoping that this time would be different, but unfortunately, it proved itself to be right on schedule. I still kick and fight to go to college to keep my mind busy with a slight onset of OCD and hyperactivity, but It's the only way to look at things. I'll research and ask around for you through some of my contacts. I'm new to the board, but hopefully I can find out something.
