We had a pretty decent 3 day Labor Day weekend at our RV lots down in Foxwood Hills (Oconee County, SC). It's only 42 miles from our house, but when we are there, we will like we are way faraway. A little too hot for me still, and we had 4" of rain in 3 hours on Saturday night, but our new RV handled it like a champ.
We mostly chilled out, even boarded the dog this time so that there would be no distractions or hassles. Sunday, we went antiquing, something I hadn't done for a while. And my wife was in a rare spending mood, she was acting like it was her birthday, but that was last weekend, lol.
Despite trying to purposely eat more the past 3 days, including eating several rounds of high calorie sugary junk like I use to eat, my weight loss continues, lost another 1.6 lbs. No matter what I do right now, I can not seem to ever gain weight, not even an ounce or two, its always downward.
I have to check in at the hospital tomorrow at 12:45 pm, to prep for my first of the 20 pre-surgery oxygen treatment sessions. Not scared, but a little nervous, as I have never experienced these types of treatments before. Not real anxious about being sealed into a long tube filled with pure oxygen for two hours, nor in having to wear a special helmet that will totally enclose my head during that time.
But I need to have this done, in order for the complex dental surgery to be safe to be performed
Will be going to PT first.
Wednesday, will be meeting with my Oncologist for my next 3 month appointment, and boy, do I ever had a long written list for go over with him.
Busy week ahead, as my ex-boss is really needing me in a consulting capacity, just not sure where I can find either the time or energy.
Will check back, after tomorrows first treatment, and give a first hand account of how it was done, and how it went, and how I feel afterward.

I am someone who makes a lot of static electricity and often "spark" when I touch stuff, and people shaking my hand or kissing me can get "stung", (and I really mustn't rummage about inside a PC!). So I hope there is some system to earth you and keep you earthed.
Otherwise all the best for the coming sessions.

If your weight loss is from Wednesday you must be 136.4lb. That is scary and scarily close the the threshold 130lb mark.
This therapy sounds like it will fix your jaw but I am really worried
about your weight. At this rate you may have great teeth but there will be nothing left of you.

Glad you had a good weekend, and best of luck with everything. Just curious, what's the purpose of the oxygen treatments in prep for the dental surgery? I'm sure you posted this, but I missed it.
David, We had 80 hours of the hyperbaric chamber to cure radiation damage bleeding, it is not bad they also ground your wrist and make youwear cotton clothes so no static sparks. 80 hours = $129K
David, glad you could get away for a couple of days...it can help recharge your batteries. You and I walk different paths in one way , but very difficult ones none the less. My liver surgery will be next month, I get a break from chemo and so will take my RV over to the coast to recharge m batteries. Good luck with theO2 treatments.
