Bactrim- reaction and GI-Map questiom

Hi everyone

I haven't been on the boards in a while but I was dxed by an llmd about 2 years ago with lyme, RMSF, and babesia. I believe I had this undxed for a while. A few years before I was dxed with the lyme, I took flagyl for BV and developed chronic candida. I had the white tongue, discharge, etc. I knew something else was going on bc I'd get flares of MS like symptoms for a week once or twice a year. I thought I hadMS but had multiple tests which were negative and symptoms were not consistent. I got suspicious of lyme even tho prior had been negative w 1 band and found an llmd who made the dx.

I recently did a GI-Map stool test because I think I may have liver flukes. Unfortunately I don't think the test he did looks for that but he thought I had some bad bad bacteria and think hes confused bc a number "showed up" but wasnt marked as high. I honestly cant figure out that test- do any of you know it? It's by diagnostic laboratories.

So I'm 7 pills into bactrim and realize that I may have taken this for no good reason.

However, I did have a bad reaction to the meds so maybe it is doing something and it's a herx? I have insomnia, jitterities, my hands shook a bit for a couple days, (nasty mouth taste which I know is just normal side effect) and my skin felt really hot all day.

Do u think its killing something? If so , what? I finally got my yeast to a tolerable level and I'm afraid this was a mistake.

I previously took Bactrim for a few months about a year or so ago, and I thought it was helping. I took it with Azith and malarone.

The Bactrim would be hitting the Lyme and if you have Bart its hits that also

Are you addressing the candida with anything?
Ok great that's good to hear. I thought it didnt work on lyme. I am- I'm hitting it hard with voriconazole, nystatin and probiotics. It's a lot but even with it, I still am having some issues. Ugh!
