He is keeping me on the stalevo for the moment but still can't give a defo diagnosis but is coming round to it being a Dystonia plus a muscle wasting/myopathy disorder but doesnt know whether it is a slow one or fast one. He wont commit himself.
I am to have an EEG and a muscle biopsy soon.
He would consider putting me on the Dystonia patch which is a new development but not as effective as med by mouth but safer.
I contacted the Dystonia Assoc in England and they say that Dystonia doesnt usually effect cognitive function and that has gone too.
I actually think I may have the three conditions of Dystonia, muscles weakness and PD. He intimated that a lot of the problems could not be ruled out by over 30yrs on psychothropic drugs and others.
xxFor now, god bless,
Ann
