everything is normal except for one... that one is a bit elevated. I don't remember what that one is, but it says that I am still flared up. But I've been going #2 once a day in the am... not completely formed, but not completely loose, and no blood. My GI gave me steroid enemas to take and upped my Humira, but since I'm not bleeding I haven't taken the enemas yet. I'm thinking of just upping my Humira first and see if that helps..... should I start the enemas even though I'm not bleeding?

*Can't take Asacol, Allergic to Remicade, odd reactions to Canasa went backwards a bit.

I'd rather do enemas than up my maitenance meds... you can always taper off the enemas. Then if things go downhill again then you could up them. But make sure you talk to the doctor about upping things.

My thought would be that low-level inflammation just isn't to the point of bleeding yet... why not start the enemas and see if you can calm it down before it ever gets to that point?

With past flares, I've upped my Humira and hadn't needed any other meds... I was on the enemas from mid June to mid July been off them for like 3 weeks and had worse problems. In June I was bleeding and couldn't get it under control, so after my first round of the enemas I guess helped me stop the bleeding, I haven't bled for 1 1/2 weeks now.... hope that helps.... When I was taking the enemas I didn't see a change in my bleeding until last week.
