Does anyone out there no if they can determine by a CBC if you are bleeding internally
Thanks
Marsha
Marsha,
They should be able to tell from a B12 and iron count if you were bleeding internally. I had a friend who kept a very low B12 and somewhat low iron and finally got the endoscopy done and she has a severe peptic ulcer. She is on shots daily for B12, it was that low.
If the doc can do a CBC, he should be able to do the B12 and iron tests.
Hugs,
Faye
I have hypothyroidism (1953), diabetes type 2 (1976), high cholesterol (1989), gastroparesis (1990), FMS (1995), and GERD (2006).

They ran so many tests on me. I am 41 and I stopped menustrating (thought it was stress due to son being killed in accident). My CBC was completely normal and so was thyroid and everything else they check to find out why I have not had a period and they determined I am in the early stages of menopause. What a shock that was to get that news because it does not run in my family. I still think it has to do with stress. Well anyways thanks for your reply to my post.
