I'm currently taking doxycycline, Azithromycin and metronidazole for lyme and have had no issues with candida (as far as I'm aware), However, I recently took 10 days of penicillin for bacterial tonsillitis and now I have candida overgrowth.
Is there anything I can do about this? What would you do? It's both oral and vaginal.

its always a balance, my candida also get worst now after treating 2 months. For me was tinidazole the main trigger. What i suggest; a lot of probiotics, (bifis, lactos and soil based) sacci boulardi, oil of oregan oil (for me most potent) paul de acro and Monolaurin. This is my main stuff im taking, you should also watch out your diet, stay low on carbs, no shugar at all and try to have some breaks between the meals. I also recommoend to brush your teeth often, pull some coconat oil and clean your tounge. if its get to worst just take some weeks off and use flucananzole. But for me is this stuff workign at the moment.
