Change in the dosage

Slowly but surely the dosage on the Lamictal is rising.  Today I begin 100mg in the AM and 100 mg at bedtime.  It's funny that I make the change, affecting me in some unknown fashion on the same day that I confront the young lady who slapped me on Friday (see post for memory going bad) devil   Of course, I'll be nice to her, as nice as she is to me.
As far as the emotional wellness, we're feeling OK today, it's still pretty early, but I at least woke up slow and gradual.  I love mornings like that because I get my fiancee cuddled into one side and my dog cuddled into the other.  It's like an Amanda cuddle sandwich.  YEAH!!!

I'm in the process of increasing my Lamictal level as well, by 50mg to make a total of 750mg. The jump is necessary but never without a price. I tend to suffer from headaches and this time alot of nausea, which I can't say has happened before. Being lethargic in the AM was a killer for work, so coffee seemed to be the answer. I could never drink coffee without becoming hyper and hated that feeling so I just didn't drink it. But now, that's a different story it sure doesn't make me hyper but seems to lift the fog in the morning before heading out to a all or nothing day.
Hope the levels come up quickly and you're controlled soon.

I was wondering where you were! Gee, I hope you are feeling ok with the increase in the Lamictal dose being upped.  Yes, like , "it's a mystery" takes on a whole new meaning when it has to do with your mind.   I'm glad your fiancee (and your dog) are so understanding.  It's nice to have as many people (and furry little creatures) on your side(did I just make a joke?) as possible! :-) :-) :-)             Glenda

Hey,  I have the nausea thing and headache thing too!  I think we should have a party for all the people that have headaches and nausea - let's see, what would we have to eat,...

.... tylenol for the appetizers, rolaids for the entree, and pepto-bismol for dessert!!! :-) And for the people with IBS - you get to have kaopectate for your after-dinner mint!!! :-)

goodwitch - I like the party idea! cool    That made me laugh out loud.  So far so good with the increase.  I'm only up to 200 mg/day.  The little lady that did the slapping on Friday had absolutely nothing to say yesterday.  We basically just ignored each other.  It's going to make her working atmosphere pretty miserable when the rest of us are joking and laughing.  People who want to be rude and disrespectful have no place in my life.  I told my manager that our work relationship will be as simple as possible, but not to expect my friendliness for her to be evident at all.

 

When will the warm weather be here?  I'm ready for shorts and sun!!!
