climate and arthritis question

Hi all,  I usually post in the Crohn's and Depression forums but I think I am developing arthritis too.  I was wondering if climate bothers you.  Does the heat or cold or humidity make it worse?  I live in the  mid southeast and am thinking of moving to a colder less humid climate.  It doesn't get cold here for long periods of time but the heat and humidity of summer get to me, mostly because of the crohn's.  I was just wondering how climate affects arthritis.  Thanks for you input.

It very much affects your joints.  I have a problem with humidity, severe (wet) cold, and so on. The pressure in the air (like the few days before rain) really hurts the joints as well.

I have to agree with CT,it does effect it very much so.In the winter my joint's hurt alot werse than they do in the summer spring time and a lot of humity (sp),I also keep my vent in my room closed up because I can not handle the cold air it just makes my bones hurt werse.

what is also interesting is that allergens in the air also can effect inflammatory arthritis!  pollen, weeds, molds, trees, etc... just as much as weather can too! NO ESCAPE!!! AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!! LOL.
